Tom Says: Safe code is boring code!
Currently, my cell phone is on the T-Mobile network. While I can't comment on pricing as I've been on my family's plan for quite some time, I can comment on most everything else.
Network availability has been a bit poor overall. At the Princeton University campus, I have to stand against my dorm room windows in order to get a clear connection that doesn't drop, and the connection quality is poor enough that I cannot understand the other person about 30% of the time I answer the phone. I get basically zero signal on the ground floor of most buildings (but at least I don't have to worry about my phone ringing in lecture.)
At home in central Ohio the situation is much better. It's good enough that I don't check for bars before making a call.
I also like that T-Mobile didn't disable features on my phone, specifically Bluetooth. I can transfer my photos to my PDA, from which I can pull them to my computer. Since buying a USB Bluetooth module (March 2007), I've been able to copy photos videos from the phone to my computer directly. I can also copy custom ringtones to the phone this way.
