It wasn't always like this. I used to not publish them to RSS until the next day, but I kind of like this more. Still, I think it's a bit too much noise... For some reason, I thought the Atom spec meant that the post would resurface only if it had already been read, and that unread versions would simply be silently updated. Ho hum.
My OpenID support is broken. :(

You princeton people, with your time to code. I wish I had time to code. But really, if I have a bit, I'll port it to java and see what it can do there.
As for your thread problem, not my area of knowledge.
