The DreamHost control panel is awesome. Their accommodation of Rails applications is not so great. It's pretty plug-and-play if you make no mistakes, but it seems to cache the fact that your app doesn't start for far too long, so debugging mistakes is painful.
For what I'm doing, Princeton web space won't cut it. :)
And yes, the favicon is from the game of life. http://catb.org/hacker-emblem/
Yeah, I'd imagine you don't have any access to web scripts at princeton eh? What you could do is be balla, and run your own dedicated servers. That might be overkill though.
I'll have to think of some way to incorporate the glider into my life somehow. I like the concept.
Tell me about not having time to do anything.
MIT uses Japanese the Spoken Language and I agree that the conversations are good, people here complain about the lack of kanji, but that's because they're dumb and don't realize what the book is for. Enjoy it.
Also, your secret closed beta site, does it have any functionality yet?
Web scripts is available to everyone. Just go to webscript.princeton.edu/netid (no tilda on this keyboard :( ). It will read php in your public_html folder

I hear a lot of complaints about dreamhost, is it good? Doesn't princeton give you webspace?
Also, is your favicon a seed for the game of life?
