Tom Says: Safe code is boring code!
Every once in a while, when I feel a particular need for attention, I publish a screenshot of my desktop. Here they are, together.
Ubuntu Linux. Acme (of plan9port) and Firefox running under WMII.
Windows XP Home. Probably the height of its corruption for that era (time between reformats). Soon after I went on a rampage with CCleaner. I was experimenting with using Windows Media Player as my main music software, but that didn't pan out.
Ubuntu Linux. MPlayer and Firefox running under WMII. I scripted WMII with ruby-wmii. I'm sad that I lost the scripts which powered the IM history bar at the bottom.
Ubuntu Linux. Firefox, Weechat, and VIM (the last two running in instances of aterm), running under WMII. I scripted WMII with ruby-wmii, which seems to have been abandoned due to the chaotic and frequent interface changes in WMII. The IM history bar appears in its early stages (to make a reappearance in the July screenshot).
