    I can picture my mom's face as she's reading this. It's funny.

    But anyways, the inner artist in me said, "This is my god damn art, and you can't tell me what to do." I didn't say that, of course, but I was thinking it. And that makes the difference, and led me to my second epiphany: I'm through letting my art suffer for my grades. […] If I want to put rays on my sun, I'm going to put god damn rays on my sun.
