Daily Crap 2008-02-20

  1. I've been thinking that, if it doesn't interrupt my life schedule to much, I'll get certification to teach computer science (math) in K-12. If I push, I may be able to get it done before I graduate.
  2. I'm taking a mini-course on machine learning in the evenings this week. In yesterday's lesson, we were told that using small decision trees as the weak classifiers for a boosting algorithm yielded results as good as any other algorithm out there. I really need to try it now.
