Dude, we have MIDI In running. Basically Markus and Xavier are contuining to build it and I forked it because it was good enough and I wanted something stable. I'll probably just use Markus' branch ultimately. But if you go to my branch it's deliberately built to be easy as hell, with some dead-easy examples.
